We can all breathe a sigh of relief! The House and Senate overrode the President’s veto today and competitive bidding for laboratory services has been repealed!! And laboratories will get a Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase. We had to give up 0.5% to pay for the Medicare updates Congress was giving the physicians but we will get 1-1.5% of an update. This is a win-win for all of us. Congrats everyone!
