TELE-CONFERENCING NOW USED IN ASCLS-AND BOARD MEETINGS

For the last several years, the ASCLS-AND Board of Directors had been meeting at the University of Arizona's Video Conference Sites in Tucson and Phoenix. Due to changes in the department at U of A, it is no longer feasible for the BOD to use these facilities.

In an effort to allow as many members as possible to attend and interact during the board meetings, the Board of Directors will be using teleconferences for board meetings in 2006—2007.

Each ASCLS-AND member or Board Member will call a specific "800" number, log in with a participant code, and be able to participate in the meeting. All participants can hear all other participants and speak at any time they chose. This should make it extremely convenient to attend a board meeting since there is no travel involved, all you need is a phone.

If you are interested in participating in future board meetings, please contact Susan Radley or Chloe Scott for additional information.
